Short Bio

​

I started drawing and painting 11 years ago. I am partly self-taught and partly TAFE-taught, drawing inspiration from artists I meet as well as the online arts community.

 

I work mostly in charcoal, soft pastels and oil paints and have recently delved into iPad painting.

 

I love portraiture, focusing on characterful faces where possible.

 

I am part of the dynamic online portrait group, Julia Kay’s Portrait Party. Three of my works were recently published in Julia Kay’s book on the group, “Portrait Revolution”.

 

I’m also a lawyer in my spare time, running a small practice with my brother.
