Joanne Bennett is a 33 year old mother of 2 who was born and raised in Lithgow in New South Wales. 

​

Growing up surrounded by a varied landscape, Joanne has been inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature from which she creates paintings using an abstract impressionistic style. 

 

Joanne paints using a minimal style allowing her soft strokes and peaceful images to speak for themselves. 

Joanne is a self taught artist but has sort mentorship from practising artists. She demands independence of thought and freedom of expression without interference from external sources.
