I’m a 61-year-old retiree and I have always had an interest in art and any kind of creative endeavour.  I enjoy playing around with lots of different media including computer graphics, fonts, digital images, photography, painting and drawing with pencil, charcoal or soft pastels.

I’m in love with soft pastels at the moment because they are so tactile and I feel like I’m finger painting with pure colour.

My inspiration for my art has always been the landscape I find myself in, the serendipity of light and trying to capture the unique feel of a place in time. Since moving to Carcoar in the central west I have become fascinated with the voluptuous hills, the silhouettes of trees climbing up and over the ridges and the incredulous colours put on show by the sunsets around here.
